Join us every other Sunday in parks across Seattle this summer for Flow Arts in the Park!
Flow Arts in the Park is a beginner-focused event with two short workshops highlighting different props, a small performance, and “open jam” time to give you the opportunity to practice, play, and connect with friends and community. We’re excited to play in parks all over the city this summer so stay sharp! We’ll be in a new location each week.
*Location: Licton Springs Park
This week’s workshops:
* Zoe Shugart will teach the Basics of Ball Juggling: Start with one ball and work up to a 3 ball cascade. Mostly playing around with good practice techniques on catches and throws and building up slowly.
* Russell will be teaching Reels and Turns with Poi: Learn to turn around with poi. Take the first steps from spinning with poi to dancing with poi!
** These events are FREE and juggling balls, poi, and hoops will be provided by Seattle Flow Arts Collective. Just bring yourself and be ready to play! **
This program is supported, in part, by a grant from the Washington State Arts Commission. We’re so grateful for their support!
