FlowShop Prop Swap!

March 28 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Event Series Event Series (See All)

This week we are thrilled to present the FLOWSHOP PROP SWAP!!

FlowShop Prop Swap is an opportunity to buy, sell, trade or gift any props, art, costumes, and other circus/flow related things with your community.

Community members are invited to bring any still-loved but no-longer-used props to swap, sell, gift, or receive with others in the community. No need to bring anything in order to participate, but the more people who bring things the more fun we’ll have!

In addition to everything you all bring, we’re also featuring several local vendors:
~Livi Joy Hoops (Day hoops, beginner hoops, FIRE hoops, hoop accessories, and various other props such as poi and juggling balls.)
~ Happiest Little Raincloud (Cards, juggling cat stickers, and other charming arts.)
~ Mumuchu (Cards, art prints, zines and stickers.)
~ Lady Aetheria’s Traveling Wand Shoppe (More leviwands than you can shake a stick at!)
~ Torn in Seattle (Clothing for all genders featuring cut and weave and bleach art designs.)
Not interested in shopping or swapping? No sweat! Come practice and make shapes with us while others peruse the goods, we’ll still be doing our normal open flow jam during the swap.

Please be sure to wear a well fitting mask when you come to FlowShop!

Thanks for helping us keep our community safe and accessible to all. We will have extra masks for folks if you forget.

What should I expect at FlowShop?

Friendly faces and welcoming spaces. Open jams are an unstructured time to come together and practice flow arts while building connections and community. Many love teaching. All props, skill levels and movement modalities are encouraged and welcome!

Don’t have a prop of your own? Post to the event and we can bring some props from our community prop library!

——————————————————————————
How To Find Us at the Phinney Ridge Community Center: Navigate to the Lower Parking Lot and enter the brick building at the doorway at the bottom of the stairs. Once inside, go down the stairs and to the left.

Accessibility: There is a street entrance to the studio space that does not require stairs on Daytona Ave. Enter the double doors of the brick building and turn immediately to your right.

Donations keep us spinning! We believe in creating spaces that are financially accessible and also believe that artists deserve to be paid. Your donation to FlowShop helps support fair wages for working artists and covers the cost of renting the space.

Suggested cost for open jams is $5.
