FlowShop: NEW LOCATION!

March 5 @ 6:00 pm - 7:45 pm

Event Series Event Series (See All)

Join us for the triumphant return of FlowShop Open Jams!

We are now meeting at Yesler Community Center at 917 E. Yesler Way in the Multipurpose Room (across the hall from the gym).

FlowShop is a weekly gathering for flow artists, jugglers, dancers, and other movement artists to build community through practice and play. Our events are open to people of all backgrounds, skills, and levels of experience.

**Please be sure to read the entire event page for updates to our COVID policy**

——————————————————————————

FlowShop hosts both workshops and “open jam” style events for movement artists of all sorts to come together for communal practice and play.

Interested in teaching a workshop? Fill out our application here: https://forms.gle/98yNkgmmJKkfWSwq7

We want to extend a HUGE thank you to ArtsWA, the National Endowment for the Arts, and 4Culture. Each of these organizations has contributed grant funding to help keep our programs alive – we are so grateful!

What should I expect at FlowShop?

Friendly faces and welcoming spaces! Open jams are an unstructured time to come together and practice flow arts while building connections and community. Many love teaching! All props, skill levels, and movement modalities are encouraged and welcome.

Don’t have a prop of your own? We always have extra to spare!

How to find us at the Community Center: We’re located in the Multipurpose Room, across the hall from the gym. There is a very kind person at the front desk who can help guide you if needed!

Accessibility: There are two accessible entrances to the Center. One is on the street level from Yesler Terrace (marked on Google maps), and the other is from an elevator in the parking garage below the building.

Parking: There is a parking garage but it’s not huge! Carpooling or using public transit is a great idea for this location.
