Northwest Flow Fest Community Fire Jam

July 5 @ 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Please note: We are still waiting on final approval from the Fire Department for this event. If there are any changes we need to communicate, you will find them here, in the discussion section of this event page, and in our social media stories!
This Community Fire Jam marks the kickoff of Northwest Flow Fest – SPROUT!

Community Fire Jams offer an opportunity for fire spinners of all skill levels to practice and play with fire in a safe and supportive environment. Coming just to watch or to play with LED or day props outside the fire circle is absolutely welcome and encouraged!

If you plan to spin fire with us, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE REGISTERED BY 6/28/24! As this is our first fire jam of 2024, everyone needs to register to burn at this event!
If you have purchased a Northwest Flow Fest workshop pass prior to June 28th, you are automatically registered – Good job!

You do not need to purchase a workshop pass in order to attend – this event is free. Donations appreciated!

If you haven’t purchased a Northwest Flow Fest workshop pass, please register here: https://forms.gle/r5NQrbSBCVPeYodb6

Suggested donation is $5-35.

Payments can be sent via PayPal at https://paypal.me/seattleflowarts, via our donation page at www.seattleflowarts.org/donate, or in person using Venmo or cash.

*Register in advance: Registration is required once per calendar year by the Fire Department. You must register at least 7 days prior to the event (this means by Friday, June 28th). You can register either by purchasing a NWFF workshop pass by 6/28, or by filling out our google form. This is required by the Fire Department for our permit so there is no wiggle room! We can’t let you spin if you don’t sign up!

Orientation: We ask that everyone who burns completes our fire safety & event orientation once per calendar year. We will host orientation multiple times throughout the night, including at 7:45, 8:30, and 9:00 at this event!

Volunteer: We need your help to keep the show running! When you check in at the front desk on the day of the event, you’ll be asked to pick a 30 minute volunteer shift with either the Sign-in Desk, Fuel Depot, Fire Safety, or Set-up/Tear-down Crew. Thank you in advance for supporting your community in this way! ❤

Dress to Impress… And Not Catch on Fire: Make sure to wear natural fibers or fire retardant treated clothing. Cotton, leather, & denim are all safe bets. Leave the synthetics, feathers, and fur at home. Spin barefoot at your own risk!
