Event Series Event Series: Seattle Spin Jam

Seattle Spin Jam

October 28 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join us every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month for Spin Jam at Yaw Theater (6520 5th Ave. S.) in south Seattle.

Spin Jam is an open flow jam with the longest running flow arts group in Seattle. Come and bring any and all props you like to spin or juggle. Don’t have a prop of your own? Post to the event and we can bring some props to share.

** How to find us: When you arrive, you’ll see a number of different unmarked doors on the white building. If the host isn’t waiting for you outside, find the RED DOOR, and hit the doorbell to the right of it! (See photo in the discussion section of this event for reference.)

Yaw is a large dance rehearsal space with high ceilings and mirrors. No outdoor shoes are allowed inside the studio. See more info here: http://www.yawtheater.com/

*Spin Jam needs your help hosting! If you’re available to help host, please reach out to Solenne Alexa Vanne or Seattle Flow Arts directly.

**What should I expect at Spin Jam?
Friendly faces and welcoming spaces. Open jams are an unstructured time to come together and practice flow arts while building connections and community. Many love teaching.
All props, skill levels and movement modalities are encouraged and welcome!

Donations keep us spinning! We believe in creating spaces that are financially accessible and rely on donations from our community to help make that happen.

Suggested cost for open jams is $5.
