The flow arts are best experienced in person–join us at one of our events!
All of our events are pay-what-you-can/free unless otherwise noted.
Financial contributions help us cover studio costs and pay fair wages to the folks we hire, and your presence is also a meaningful contribution!
NOTE: COVID-19 policy varies by event.
Complete details can be found in the event descriptions on our calendar.
Spin Jam happens every 2nd and 4th Saturday year-round from 3-5, and is open to all. Spin Jam is an “open jam” style event, where flow artists of all skill levels get together to practice and play in an unstructured environment. This event has been around for over a decade and is Seattle’s longest running flow jam!
Founded in 2015, FlowShop is Seattle’s time and place for Tuesday evening workshops, open jams, and community. This event is for all skill levels, ages, backgrounds, and movement modalities related to circus and object manipulation. Interested in teaching a workshop? Apply here!
NORTHWEST FLOW FEST
Find your flow at the 6th annual Northwest Flow Fest June 30, 2023 in Seattle! NWFF is a weekend-long event featuring workshops, showcases, vendors, and a fire jam! NWFF is co-produced with Flow Fests/Monkey Dust Productions.
COMMUNITY FIRE JAM
The magic of fire dancing is the flame that drew many of us to flow arts and object manipulation. Community Fire Jams are an opportunity to practice spinning fire, learn about fire safety, and are a great place to start out volunteering with SFAC. Our Community Fire Jam is one of the only permitted fire jams of its size in the United States, and we’re so proud of and grateful for the hard working team that makes these events happen!
